How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success?
The Senior Strategic Planning Engineer oversees project planning, budgeting forecasts, and prioritization strategies. Responsibilities include market research, business development, and data-driven analysis to provide strategic recommendations.They collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource planning, drive improvements, and enhance decision-making processes for organizational growth and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support Business Developer in developing cost-effective and technically compliant solutions aligned with industry standards.
- Work with stakeholders to create competitive technical proposals and commercial offers.
- Assist in risk assessment, scope clarification, and technical input to ensure safe and reliable project execution.
- Ensure project compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and external standards.
- Support the Strategic Planning Manager in problem-solving, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Develop and implement budget control strategies for specialty gas and chemical equipment projects.
- Align project procurement plans with budget allocations to optimize cost efficiency.
- Oversee procurement planning for specialty gas and chemical equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Establish workflows for budget tracking, cost forecasting, and financial compliance.
- Prepare periodic reports on budget performance, cost trends, and procurement efficiency.
- Conduct training sessions on strategic planning, budget management, and procurement best practices.
- Identify supply chain risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive supplier competitiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or Chemistry preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic planning or supply chain management.
- Good analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, budget forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Proficiency in Power BI or similar tools for cost reporting, dashboard creation, and variance analysis.
- Ability to assess financial and operational data to drive strategic decision-making and efficiency improvements.
- Possess cross-functional collaboration skills, working with finance, procurement, and engineering teams to align strategic goals.
