Commodities Market Risk Analyst
Our client is a global leader within the commodities space looking for a Market Risk Analyst.
Main Responsibilities- Perform daily validation and reporting of trading profit and loss to traders and management, including detailed analysis of key P&L drivers and reconciliation with trader estimates and market fundamentals.
- Conduct daily reconciliation of exposure with traders, ensuring accuracy and alignment in reported figures.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to understand the logistical impacts on risk exposure, profit and loss, and costs, maintaining effective communication and coordination.
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business preferred
- 2-4 years of Market risk experience either in banking or in the commodities industry
