About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Measurement & Verification Pte. Ltd., a leading Energy Efficiency company operating in Singapore. As an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of our projects.Reporting to the Senior Project Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to stakeholder engagement and site supervision.
What you'll be doing- Developing and implementing project plans, including setting timelines, allocating resources, and monitoring progress
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including safety, drafters, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution
- Effectively managing project budgets and costs, ensuring adherence to financial targets
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that arise
- Supervising on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Identifying and mitigating project risks, implementing appropriate contingency plans
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior members of the project team
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar project management role within the construction industry and experience managing ACMV, HVAC, or BMS projects, focusing on commercial, industrial, or data centre facilities (preferred, not mandatory).
- A proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget (an advantage if demonstrated).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
