About the role
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join a leading global semi-conductor company. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will author and implement control functions for current and future systems.
What you'll be doing- Design, test, and implement control functions
- Developing unit tests and automated test
- Analyze test data for ways to improve existing controls and design
- Lead complex software projects
- Work closely with firmware vendors and engineering team to support subsystems and system-level bring-up, testing and debugging
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software engineering practices and processes
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in C++, C#, and other relevant programming languages
- Experience in semiconductor equipment industry or related hardware control technical discipline experience
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Proficient in C++, C#/PLC programming/Linux
