Business Development Manager (Data Centres) - Jurong West

As a Business Development Manager for Data Centres, you will drive growth by identifying certification, testing and consultancy opportunities, building partnerships, and positioning TÜV SÜD as a leader in the sector. Your role involves developing and implementing strategies aligned with data centre market trends and relevant stakeholders (such as clients and consultants’) needs while fostering relationships with existing customers to ensure business growth and long-term collaboration.

This dynamic role offers the chance to innovate and expand the organization’s presence for Data centre services across ASEAN.

Responsibility:

  • Drive revenue growth for TÜV SÜD’s Data Centre-related business through strategic account management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities and leading associations to enhance TÜV SÜD's market presence.
  • Serve as a representative of ONE TÜV SÜD in all sales activities, acting as the primary interface between customers and internal teams and their respective service portfolios across various levels, including collaboration with other business units.
  • Develop strategies to address the data centre market needs in ASEAN and work with all business units in the company to implement these strategies.
  • Develop comprehensive and competitive fee proposals tailored to client needs for data centre advisory, certifications, testing and inspection services.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), emerging power technologies, and physical infrastructure standards such as TIA-942, UTI, or ISO 22237 is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of data centre design concepts and requirements to be able to engage both customers and internal teams to effectively push company’s services to the market.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in data centre-related sales or key account management, preferably with exposure to the ASEAN market dynamics.
