Aramco Trading Singapore (ATS) is the largest subsidiary out of the kingdom and is actively trading within the region and globally across all products since 2018.
The Function:
Responsible for smooth and efficient logistics movement through organising, managing and tracking physical product movements.
Key Accountabilities:
Organize, manage, track and balance physical product movements based on the supply anddemand plan
Implement the strategy, policy, procedures and targets of the Operations group
Move products from source to transfer point
Liaise with ship-owners / brokers for ship availability and shipping freight for product
Create schedules and nominations based on supply and demand schedule and stock inventory
Ensure ships meet statutory regulations
Ensure availability of quality certificates and test samples
Confirm actual product volumes
Work with trader and charterer to adjust scheduling when unplanned events occur
Work closely with trader to provide smooth operations support
Focus on transport economics, min/max load balances and inventory optimization, by usinganalytical models and tools
Perform analysis of the transportation means, ensuring that the product can be movedefficiently. Contact the deal owner for resolution if there are constraints
Coordinate with inspectors and terminal authorities for product movements
Query prior months and manage the base operational plan
Analyse and highlight logistics constraints and opportunities
Coordinate with trading and accounting for month-end close activities
Coordinate book-outs and nets-outs with counterparts as necessary to minimize delivery risk
Understand and proactively manage demurrage risks
Generate Inventory, forecast and schedule reports
Update and maintain the ETRM (enterprise trading and risk management) system withoperations and scheduling information related to the products being handled, such asscheduling, nominations and actuals
Requirements:
Supporting the chemical desk, prior direct experience will be a big advantage- Minimum 3 years of direct cargo ops experience
- Strong organizational skill
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
- Possess good understanding of marine chartering and its commercial impact; market trends/drivers of competitor markets; terminals; logistics and refinery operations; marine transportation of product; product specifications and grades; supply/demand fundamentals of physical market; refining system; marine operations; third-party system parameters; standard terms and conditions of contracts; understands the value of variations in specification, timing, and volume, tariffs, taxation, exchanges, storage terminals, blending, testing methodology/repeatability, inventory management
