What the role is

What you will be working on
Statistics and Library Division (SLD) is part of the Enterprise Knowledge Department (EKD), under the Economics & Knowledge Management Group in MAS. You will be part of a dynamic team of individuals, who are passionate about transforming information resources in MAS Library through digital and user-centric ways.The Library supports MAS departments in their information and research needs by providing relevant and up-to-date resources and services.
In this position, you will manage or assist in various aspects of the Library functions, including but not restricted to:
- Curation and creation of digital content while raising awareness and improving discovery of MAS Library resources across online platforms and physical spaces;
- Build and manage technology-enabled library services;
- Provide in-depth research assistance to users and answer reference enquiries;
- End-to-end work related to procurement of information resources which entails working with vendors as well as internal departments such as users and the corporate services and finance departments; and
- Organising outreach events to users.
What are we looking for
We are looking for suitable candidates with:
- A university degree with some work experience. A postgraduate degree in Library Sciences and/or technology-related experience will be an advantage.
- Strong ability in understanding and contributing to the application of technology solutions to work processes.
- Good interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and innovatively with team members.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and in an agile manner in a dynamic environment.
