Reporting & Systems Analyst (Contract) - Geylang

Overview of Role:

• Support financial reporting activities within the organization, ensuring accurate and timely month-end closing
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to maintain financial data integrity and compliance with reporting standards
• Contribute to process improvements by leveraging technology to enhance financial operations
• Assist in financial & technological analysis and, reporting to support decision-making processes
• Engage in projects and initiatives to optimize reporting and control processes
• Play a role in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency in financial & technological workflows

What you'll do:

As a Reporting & Systems Analyst (Contract), you will:

• Execute financial reporting and month-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial data processes and enhance reporting accuracy
• Manage financial information systems to ensure proper data integration and reconciliation across platforms
• Provide insights and support in financial decision-making by delivering key performance reports
• Contribute to the adoption of new technologies to automate reporting and reduce manual processes
• Participate in process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and enhance financial reporting capabilities

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Reporting & Systems Analyst (Contract)role brings:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools such as SAP, Hyperion, or Blackline is preferred
• Hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and month-end closing processes
• Exposure to financial operations within commodities, trading, or similar industries is advantageous
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and complex financial information
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
