EXECUTIVE/ ASSISTANT MANAGER (DEVELOPMENT AND PARTNERSHIPS)

The VOS Executive/ Assistant Manager (Development and Partnerships) will work closely and assist the VOS Senior Manager in growing various funding streams and securing beneficial partnership opportunities for the charity. This will be done through three aspects, namely, Donor Management, Grant Management and Partnership Development.

Responsibilities:

Donor Management
  • Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors, corporations, foundations, and other potential funding sources.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the donor base and increase overall giving.
  • Manage donor communications, including acknowledgments, updates, and reports.
  • Track and analyse donor data to inform fundraising strategies and donor engagement efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Marcomms and Projects and Venues team to plan and execute donor cultivation events and campaigns.
Grant Management
  • Research, identify, and pursue grant opportunities from various sources, including government agencies, foundations, and other grant-making organisations.
  • Prepare high-quality grant proposals, applications, and supporting documents.
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements, including reporting, financial documentation, and programmatic evaluations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive grants calendar and track deadlines for submissions and reporting.
  • Collaborate with programme staff to gather necessary information for grant proposals and reports.
Partnership Development
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities with other non-profit organisations, businesses, government agencies, community stakeholders, and potential clients.
  • Promote and market the corporate singing program as a partnership opportunity for businesses and organisations looking to enhance employee engagement and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, showcasing the benefits of the corporate singing program as a partnership initiative.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored proposals and presentations highlighting the value and impact of our programmes for potential partners.
  • Negotiate and finalise partnership agreements, ensuring mutual understanding of program deliverables, timelines, and financial arrangements.
  • Coordinate with the program delivery team to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing support for partner organisations.
  • Monitor program outcomes and collect feedback from partner organisations to identify areas for improvement and enhance the partnership experience.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on partnership activities, including revenue generated, client satisfaction, and program impact.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, employee engagement initiatives, and best practices in corporate partnerships to continually refine and enhance the program.
Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare regular reports on fundraising activities, donor engagement, grant outcomes, and partnership development efforts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions, grant applications, and partnership agreements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of grant reports and fulfil reporting requirements for funding sources.
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators related to fundraising and partnership development.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts related to development and partnerships.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with other departments within the organisation to align development and partnership efforts with programmatic goals.
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager (Development and Partnerships) to support their initiatives and priorities.
  • Coordinate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging and branding in donor communications and partnership materials.

Requirements:

  • Diploma and/or Bachelor Degree in Business or Arts Management
  • Knowledge and understanding of the arts industry and/or social care sector
  • Knowledge of fundraising, philanthropy, and Singapore’s charity sector
  • Knowledge and experience in grant application and reporting process
  • Experience in stakeholder/ partnership management
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks independently
  • Can maintain strict confidentiality when entrusted with sensitive information
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
