Job description for Admin Staff
- Data Entry & Filing System
- Maintain accurate records of donations, member details , event registrations, and other relevant temple data on computer systems.
- Financial Transactions
- Process donations and purchase orders.
- Issue receipts.
- Customer Service
- Answer phone calls and greet visitors.
- Provide information about temple services and events.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare reports and maintain filing systems.
- Manage office supplies.
- Communication
- Correspond with vendors, volunteers, and committees.
- Send out notifications and mailers to members.
- Events Preparation
- Comfortable assisting with organizing and preparation of offerings, ceremonial items, and decorations for religious events, celebrations and ceremonies.
- Website & Social Media Management
- Update website content and manage social media accounts.
- Meeting
- Meetings are at night, occur once or twice every few months. Need to stay back and take minutes, days with meetings can report to work later.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse visitors.
- Attention to detail and to maintain accurate records.
- Salary: $2300 (might have increment based on performance after 3 months probation)
- Location: Balestier
- Working Hours: Monday to Sat (alternate Saturdays)
- Work time: Mondays to Fridays: 8am to 4.30pm; Alternate Saturdays: 8am to 12pm
