As the Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in ensuring the store runs smoothly while achieving sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in crafting and executing plans to achieve brand, sales, and service objectives.
- Monitor the store’s financial performance and collaborate on meeting budget goals.
- Support customer relationship management, handle service recovery, and oversee visual merchandising.
- Supervise and develop team members, focusing on customer service and sales excellence.
- Manage inventory, ensure optimal stock levels, and support purchasing activities.
- Oversee operational costs to enhance store profitability.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align on campaigns and promotions.
- Research market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment.
- Assist in hiring, training, and retaining a skilled and motivated team.
- Diploma in Business Management or a degree in any field.
- 2–4 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets and strategic planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Effective team-building and motivational skills.
- Familiarity with retail management practices and procedures.
- Prior experience in furniture or home decor retail is an advantage.
- Experienced in supporting sales targets and strategic planning, with expertise in both B2B and B2C environments
