The Assistant Marketing Manager will support the development and execution of localized marketing strategies for gaming products in Singapore and Malaysia. This role will emphasize user acquisition, engagement, and retention for mobile and PC games.
The Assistant Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with local teams, external agencies, and internal stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with product launches and growth objectives.
Job Description- Assist in planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention for mobile and PC games.
- Localize regional marketing strategies to align with the Singapore and Malaysia markets while ensuring brand consistency.
- Manage social media channels, influencer partnerships, and community-building efforts to enhance brand visibility and user interaction.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and creative teams to align marketing initiatives with game releases and updates.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, competitive trends, and growth opportunities in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Coordinate with external media and advertising agencies for digital campaigns, influencer collaborations, and local events.
- Monitor marketing performance metrics and prepare regular reports on campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Optimize the marketing budget to ensure cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Maintain and grow relationships with local partners such as agencies, media outlets, payment providers, and businesses.
- Support the creation of promotional content, including trailers, social media assets, and marketing materials, in collaboration with designers and agencies.
- Participate in industry events, gaming conventions, and public relations initiatives to strengthen local brand presence.
- Adhoc Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities and ad hoc tasks as assigned to support the team and ensure smooth execution of daily activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 1-2 years in the gaming industry.
- Demonstrated experience in executing successful marketing campaigns in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, and community engagement.
- Familiarity with the gaming landscape in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Proficient in digital marketing tools, Google Analytics, and CRM platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Passion for the gaming industry and deep understanding of local market trends and player behavior.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin and Korean is a plus.
