Our client is a market leader in the Manufacturing industry. They are looking for a Maintenance & Mechanical Technician to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the West area – easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the installation, modification, upgrades, and servicing of manufacturing machinery.
• Perform maintenance and repair tasks for mechanical and electrical systems used in manufacturing operations.
• Assess, identify, and procure suitable equipment that optimizes production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Keep updated records of equipment manufacturers’ technical bulletins, system enhancements, and safety-related updates.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment to ensure seamless operations.
• Carry out mechanical and/or electrical repair work as required.
• Handle preventive maintenance, repair activities, project support, data management, and compliance tasks, including control support and audit preparations.
• Analyze equipment performance and reliability to support operational efficiency.
• Ensure all equipment maintenance activities (corrective, preventive, and predictive) comply with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis for corrective or demand-based maintenance tasks.
• Assist with equipment qualification processes, including inspections, punch lists, commissioning, and validation for new projects.
• Execute work orders and maintain maintenance records.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors, vendors, and service providers in carrying out maintenance activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Other additional responsibilities as assigned.
