Quality Engineer (Oil & Gas) - Choa Chu Kang

Summary:

• Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
• UP$3500-$4500
• AWS+VB
• Tuas

Responsibilities:

• Work with Quality Manager to ensure the inspection processes adhere to the relevant work Instructions, quality plan, drawings, and QMS requirements.
• Leads cross-functional team in customer complaint and internal quality issues investigation and in-charge in driving corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Analyzes data pertaining to the quality performance and identifies and implements continual improvement.
• Performs internal audits to ensure the company's compliance with the QMS and customer requirements.
• Conducts training to improve the competency of the quality inspectors.
• Liaise with suppliers/customers on material certificate-related matters.
• Responsible for the accuracy and timely inspection and calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
• Ensure correct and full information about the sales orders are passed to Engineering and Production departments.
• Keep track on the progress of on-going job(s) to the customer’s 3rd party inspectors.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Engineering related courses
• At least 3 years relevant experience in oil and gas industry
• Knowledge in ISO9001, Quality Management System, Quality Control, and usage of measuring devices/tools.
