Senior Manager (Project coordination) - Bukit Merah

Role & Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager will report to the General Manager (Business Development) and, together with members in FSRU Technical Team, will be responsible for:

1. Leading Conversion Supervision:

• Supervising the design and conversion of a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) from an LNG carrier, including factory acceptance tests and equipment installation at a shipyard in Singapore (hereinafter, the “Project”).
• Facilitating meetings among stakeholders for the Project.
• Supervising tests and trials for the Project.
• Reviewing plans and drawings submitted by the shipyard for the Project.
• Preparing periodical reports.

1. Leading the preparation of periodic reports to be submitted to relevant parties for the Project.
2. Conducting audits for subcontractors and manufacturers of key equipment for the Project.
3. Assisting the General Manager with other technical matters related to the Project.

Qualification and experience:

• Minimum of five years of experience in EPC work scope or similar to the Project’s work scope. Must have at least two years of experience of project management (including budgeting and progress management) and reviewing drawings of LNG carriers or FSRUs (either newbuilding or conversion) in the last two years.
• Experience in participating in and organizing procurement tenders, preferably with involvement in projects related to LNG carriers and FSRUs.
• Experience in handling key project contracts, such as time charter parties and shipbuilding or conversion contracts.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong people management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of industry publications and regulations related to the Project.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g. naval architecture, mechanical engineering) or science; a higher degree is an advantage.
• Working experience in shipping company or ship management company is an advantage.
• Having sailing experience as senior officer on LNG vessels or FSRUs for minimum 2 years is an advantage.
• Willingness to undertake occasional overseas trips.
