Job Description

Position: Hair Assistant

Location: Bugis

Job Summary:

The Hair Assistant supports hairstylists in a salon environment by assisting with client care, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

Assist Hairstylists:

Prepare clients and tools for services.
Help with shampooing, conditioning, and hair treatments.
Support stylists during cuts, colors, and styling.

Client Care:

Greet clients and ensure comfort.
Offer beverages and assist with coats.
Relay client requests to stylists.

Salon Maintenance:

Keep stations, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
Stock products and maintain salon hygiene.

Sales & Product Knowledge:

Recommend products and promote retail sales.
Stay informed on hair trends and products.

Administrative Support:

Help with scheduling and client records.
Answer phones and confirm appointments.

Learning & Development:

Observe stylists and improve skills.

Participate in training as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous salon experience a plus.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a team.
