Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems and Heat Pump systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Solar PV System Maintenance:

1. Perform routine maintenance: Clean and inspect solar panels, check electrical connections, and verify system performance.
2. Troubleshoot issues: Identify and repair faults in solar PV systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
3. Update system software: Ensure solar PV system software is up-to-date and functioning correctly.

Heat Pump System Maintenance:

1. Perform routine maintenance: Clean and inspect heat pump systems, check refrigerant levels, and verify system performance.
2. Troubleshoot issues: Identify and repair faults in heat pump systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components.
3. Recharge refrigerant: Recharge refrigerant as needed to ensure optimal system performance.

General Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate records: Document maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections
2. Ensure safety protocols: Comply with safety protocols and regulations, including electrical safety, fall protection, and refrigerant handling.
3. Collaborate with team members: Work with other technicians, engineers, and managers to ensure efficient maintenance operations.

Requirements:

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
2. Experience: 2+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of solar PV and heat pump systems.
3. Skills: Excellent electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration skills; ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with electrical and refrigeration systems.
