Operations Manager

• The Operations Manager is responsible for implementing effective processes and workflows across operations to ensure smooth work activities.
• Manage and maintain effective people and teams on the ground, aligning them to the company’s goals and directions
• Define and design scope and objectives aligned to operation requirements
• Process improvement and optimization
• Plan and monitor the day-to-day operations to ensure smooth progress
• Ensure accountability within the operations department
• Lead and guide Team Leads (TL) and Warehouse Assistants (WA)
• Conduct Safety Briefing for all warehouse personnel (including part-timers) before ‘start-of-shift’
• Assigning tasks and deployment
• Ensure timely inbound/outbound scan and scan accuracy
• Ensure prompt action to reduce returned parcels
• Report and update scan status
• Analyze report status, carry out accountability check and access any parcel inaccuracy
• Manage and provide fast response to assigned Key Account Customers for any queries or issues
• Work with Sales, Customer Service (CS), Fleet and Fulfillment (FF) teams to ensure smooth/efficient warehouse operations
• Liaise with a pool of Contractor Drivers for parcel-outbound accuracy and accountability
• Manpower planning for both peak and non-peak days
• Ensure serviceability of warehouse equipment and improve hub operations efficiency
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards
• Adhere to the company’s Workplace Safety, Health & Security (WSHS) Policy and implement the associated bizSAFE protocols

• Physically fit
• Comfortable to perform shift work, whenever required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of operations managerial experience
• Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or other relevant fields
• Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
