Senior Frontend Developer - Toa Payoh

Maltem Asia is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer for a Wealth Management Client based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and Develop efficient, scalable, and highly reusable Frontend systems that drive complex geospatial web applications.
• Optimize code to enhance scalability, reliability, security, and performance of web applications.
• Collaborate closely with product design, product management, and software development teams to ensure a world-class user experience.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure web applications are accessible and perform well across various devices and screen sizes.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the highest quality of web applications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve and innovate front-end development practices.

Must Have Skillsets:

• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficient in:
• Native JavaScript (ES5/ES6+)
• with strong understanding and practical experience in event handling, and asynchronous programming and other core principles and fundamentals.
• Extensive frontend engineering experience, with demonstrated expertise in:
• TypeScript
• JavaScript
• CSS
• React
• Redux
• Proficiency with frontend libraries such as:
• NX Monorepo
• Redux Toolkit
• React Router
• React Hook Form
• AgGrid and HighCharts is highly desirable.
• Experience with geospatial front-end libraries such as:
• Leaflet.js
• Deck.gl is a plus.
• Familiarity with build tools and Testing Frameworks such as:
• Webpack
• Vite
• Vitest
• Familiarity with the product and software development lifecycle, including Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Agile, fast learner, highly self-motivated, with a strong sense of product ownership and creative problem-solving abilities.
