Quality Assurance Engineer - Yishun

Job Purpose

To ensure the Incoming, In-process and Final parts/product meets the required specifications and all nonconformance parts are properly disposed off in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Perform parts, modules and final assembled equipment inspection as per the IPQC/OQC inspection checklist
• Schedule MRB meeting to provide disposition for all non-conformance material, issue non-conformance report (NCR) to the responsible department and follow up on closure of the agreed material disposition and improvement actions
• Assist the QA Manager/Supervisor to perform the short-term corrective actions and gather the preliminary root cause finding for all quality related issues found internally as well as from customer
• Responsible for planning and conducting the periodic internal process audits (with reference to the ISO procedure). This include tracking the implementation and closure of the corrective & preventive action that are identified to address the nonconformity
• Recommend improvement suggestions and participate in the improvement activities
• Support QMS in the document control of new and revised documents

Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, Quality Assurance or any other relevant qualification
• 1~2 years of experience in Quality Assurance related experience in a manufacturing environment

• Able to interpret and understand basic technical drawing
• Familiar with usage of various handheld measurement instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height
• Gauge, Thread Gauge, Plug/Pin gauge, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word)
• Familiar with the production processes and workflows in manufacturing environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Strong communication and team coordination skills
• Proficiency in SAP systems would be an added advantage
