Job description:

Job Title: Finance Operations Executive

Reports To: Senior Manger (NHG GCIO Office)

Job Summary: This position will be responsible to support NHG CIOO IT Finance Operations functions. You will be required to work closely with CIOO Institution Services, CIOO Cluster Finance, NHG Institution Finance, ALPS and 1FSS teams, as well as various departments across Synapxe and NHG.
Supports the GCIO and Institution IT Director office to ensure the smooth operations of the IT Finance Operations, adhering to the finance governance and compliance and ensuring accuracy and completeness of IT Financial records for audits and management reporting.

You'll also be tasked to support the department in process improvement and cost containment initiatives, such as streamlining the IT billing process and tracking & monitoring of actual IT spending for management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Finance Operations & Support
  1. Process invoices and facilitate verification of projects/systems and tracking of budget utilisation
  2. Process and monitor IT Purchase Request for CAPEX and OPEX
  3. Provide end-to-end support on requisition, billing and invoice queries from institutions, vendors and IT staff
  4. Work with Finance and Materials Management departments on matters relating to IT budget, procurement and invoicing
IT Governance and Budgeting
  1. Provide support for annual IT budgeting exercise for institution IT budget, working in collaboration with Cluster Finance.
  2. Assist in monitoring and reporting of IT utilisation against budget.
  3. Work collaboratively with various teams to act as a liaison between Institution, NHG and Synapxe teams, supporting institution and cluster CIOO activities.
  4. Advice, support and work with various teams to ensure compliance with IT governance, such as authorisation process.
Administration Support
  1. Assist in schedules and logistical facilitation of business meetings/forums
  2. Route and track documents for approvals by Institution / Cluster Management
  3. Provide general administrative support to CIO Office
Others
  1. Support ad-hoc request from GCIO/ID/RO on operational and administration related matters.
  2. Undertake any requests as directed by the GCIO/ID/RO of the staff in alignment with organisational objectives and goals.
