MAIN PURPOSE

The Associate Director of FP&A for Richemont's South East Asia and Oceania region leads the FP&A team, fostering strong collaboration between the Maisons, CEO, Finance Director, and Richemont Function Heads. This role ensures the team provides timely, insightful analysis of financial performance, distribution networks, key business indicators, and cross-brand benchmarks, empowering strategic decision-making.

Compliance with controls and procedures, and the successful implementation of finance projects and initiatives, are also key dimensions of the role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position oversees all aspects of the regional FP&A function, monitoring financial performance for both Brands and Richemont functions to ensure the achievement of financial objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and execution of long-term financial strategies, including scenario planning and risk assessment, for the region;
  • Developing business analysis frameworks,
  • Partnering with brand leadership on strategic initiatives,
  • Identifying and implementing initiatives to improve financial performance across the region, and
  • Maintaining a robust control environment.

This role also involves mentoring and developing members of the finance function, fostering effective communication and information exchange among all business partners to ensure the team provides relevant financial support to functions and Maisons.

Promoting financial discipline and collaborating effectively with Group, Regional, and Local Finance teams, as well as Brand Management, is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Degree in Finance or similar, CPA or comparable qualification
  • Minimum of 10 years of functional experience, of which +/- 5 years in a similar management position with an international company
  • Good knowledge of International Accounting Standards and SOX
  • Experience in FP&A in a multi-stakeholder environment, ideally in the retail business
  • Proficient in finance systems and project management, with advanced team leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to address senior business leaders
  • Able to manage competing deadlines, possessing strong analytical and detail-oriented skills while maintaining a strategic perspective.
