Structural Design Engineer - Pioneer / Woodlands - $7,000 - Jurong West

Job Description:

• Perform detailed analysis and design calculations for foundations, geotechnical, steel, and structures.
• Produce design reports for schematic, design development, and construction phases of projects.
• Utilize advanced design software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, TEDDS) to develop structural designs.
• Work with clients, authority departments, consultants, and contractors to complete projects.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and make submissions to various authority departments.
• Attend project and technical meetings, and carry out site inspections.
• Check engineering plans for discrepancies and resolve technical issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• More than 10 years experiences in Singapore as Civil Design Engineer
• Familiar Singapore design standard such as LTA, PUB and BCA
• Familiar Eurocode standard
• Reinforced Concrete design, Steel design, Geotechnical design (Slope stability, Settlement calculation), Gravity wall design, Pile deck structure design, FEM Analysis, Drainage design, Temporary retaining wall design (ERSS), ECM design
• Software Skill:
• Staad Pro
• Plaxis 2D (or 3D)
• Geo studio (Slope/W) if possible, Seep and Sigma
• Auto CAD
