Basic Purpose/Accountabilities:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Singapore Crude, Heavy & LPG Scheduling, the Operations Assistant position will be responsible for providing operations administrative support to the commercial activities in Singapore office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • SAP system responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for verifying & entering secondary expenses (tankage related charges, inspection fees, GST and any operational related charges).
  • Learn and support schedulers for cargo ticketing
  • Provide Operations support
  • Maintain proper DRM for overall scheduling and ops admin files, Storage License renewal, and support internal compliance audit
  • Scheduling system (SAP) upgrade testing for secondary cost portion.
  • Endorse and despatch of cargo/shipping documents to 3rd parties
  • Perform analytical support for the operations functions when required.

Basic Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in maritime/logistics
  • Minimum 1 year of operations administrative support
  • Basic understanding of operations to help verify operational costs
  • Strong administration and organization skills with an eye for details and accuracy
  • A team player and self-motivated individual
  • Strong MS Office & Excel knowledge and good communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Scheduling or Shipping functions preferred
  • Previous SAP cost entry experience will be added advantage
