Assistant Accounting Manager/Accounting Manager - Geylang

Our Client is a well-known Japanese Manufacturer, currently seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager/Accounting Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for full sets of accounts, ensuring timely and accurate monthly and yearly closing using the SAP system.

• Prepare monthly reports for HQ and quarterly revaluation reports for group companies.
• Liaise with auditors and draft the annual auditors’ report.
• Handle corporate tax, expatriate personal income tax, and GST-related matters.
• Prepare the year-end budget.
• Ensure internal control and compliance, including J-SOX requirements.
• Liaise with the corporate secretary on board meetings, AGMs, etc.
• Prepare ad hoc reports for government agencies (e.g., Department of Statistics, Economic Development Board).

【 Requirement & Preferences 】

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or ACCA professional level.
• At least 5 years of experience handling full sets of accounts.
• Experience in a Japanese company and familiarity with J-SOX compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

• Experience with TMS (Treasury Management System).
• Background in treasury/treasury administration within financial institutions or finance-related companies.
