Job Brief

Overseeing the technical aspects of lifeboat operations on a vessel, including maintenance, inspections, repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, by managing a team of technicians and coordinating all lifeboat related technical activities to maintain their operational readiness at all times; essentially acting as the expert on lifeboat systems and ensuring their safe and efficient function on board.

• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients, Manufacturers, suppliers for both supplies and services. Service policies, practices, and initiatives.
• By emphasizing the technical standards and requirements for certain issues and repair procedures, work alongside the Service team accordingly.
• Coordinate with the Service Engineers/ Ops team for the assignment of repairs to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Communicate with clients locally and internationally mainly purchases, technical teams about new products and technical support issues when required.
• While maintaining the company's quality standards and safety requirements, provide effective solutions for clients pertaining to repairs, services. Support the client on the go by providing technical advice in all Service related issues in order to meet customer requirements.
• Managing the budget allocated for lifeboat maintenance, including procurement of spare parts and service contracts.
• Implementing quality control measures to ensure all lifeboat maintenance and repairs are carried out to the highest standards

• Experience 7 years in Marine /Offshore related field.
• A strong understanding of marine engineering principles, particularly related to hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems found in lifeboats.
• Comprehensive awareness of international maritime safety regulations regarding lifeboats
• Ability to lead and manage a team of lifeboat technicians, assigning tasks, and ensuring efficient operations
• Ability to diagnose technical issues and find effective solutions to complex problems
