Account Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join our team. You will support the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions (e.g., sales, purchases, receipts, payments) for various companies.
• Perform data entry into accounting software (e.g., Xero.)
• Handle Accounts Payable and Receivable – issue invoices, follow up on payments
• Prepare payment vouchers, petty cash claims, and staff expense reimbursements
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in month-end closing and preparation of financial reports
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records
• Assist with GST submissions, CPF, IRAS-related matters, and other government compliance tasks
• Any other administrative duties as and when assigned

Requirements:

• Min GCE 'O' Level/Higher NITEC / Diploma in Accounting / LCCI or equivalent
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred (fresh graduates will be considered)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with Xero accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Hardworking with a positive work attitude and good communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
