Finance Executive (Grant Management ) | One North | Up to $4,000 - Geylang
Location: One North
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 830am to 6pm; Friday 830am to 530pm
We are looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable Finance Executive to support both Grant Management and Financial Accounting functions. You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial operations, compliance with grant frameworks, and the maintenance of accurate accounts.
Responsibilities:
Grant Management Support- Set up projects and budgets in SAP for newly approved grants.
- Review Fund Requisitions (FRs) and Final Statement of Accounts (FSOAs) to ensure compliance with relevant grant guidelines.
- Liaise with grantees to ensure timely submission of FRs, FSOAs, and grant audit reports.
- Follow up on agency-side FRs and FSOAs with funding bodies to ensure timely fund receipt.
- Ensure audit compliance in accordance with internal and external grant audit frameworks.
- Generate and maintain monthly budget utilisation reports.
- Manage Accounts Receivable: process invoices and account for incoming receipts.
- Perform Accounts Payable duties, including vendor management and payment processing.
- Maintain Fixed Asset records, including capitalisation, RFID tagging, verification, and disposal.
- Prepare and maintain General Ledger (GL): post journal entries, conduct reconciliations, and support month-end/year-end closings.
- Assist in internal, statutory, and audit office audits.
- Contribute to finance-related projects, including digitalisation and automation initiatives.
- Administer system access requests and support routine financial reporting.
- Perform Goods Receipt (GR) entries and maintain monthly exchange rates.
- Participate in continuous process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- High learning agility and ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
- Experience with SAP and SAP HANA will be an advantage.
