Job Summary:
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive to support our business development efforts in China and Singapore. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying growth opportunities, building relationships, and driving business expansion in these regions.The role requires a deep understanding of the Chinese and Singaporean markets, along with strong communication and negotiation skills and a strong understanding of the biotech R&D landscape to foster long-term client relationships and ensure business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Opportunity Identification:Conduct market research to understand business trends, industry developments, and competitive landscapes in China and Singapore.
Monitor local regulations, economic conditions to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Client Relationship Development:Build, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in both China and Singapore.
Understand local business culture and adapt communication and negotiation strategies accordingly.
- Sales Strategy & Proposal Management:Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop region-specific sales strategies and value propositions.
Negotiate terms and pricing with clients, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:Coordinate with the product, marketing, and customer service teams to deliver tailored solutions and support to clients in China and Singapore.
- Market Expansion & Partnerships:Identify and pursue new business partnerships and collaborations that align with company goals and regional market opportunities.
- Reporting & Market Intelligence:Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, sales pipelines, and market trends in China and Singapore.
Monitor competitors and emerging industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive in both markets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Experience in business development or partnership management within the biotechnology sector, specifically in R&D.
- Proven experience in business development or sales, with a focus on China and Singapore markets.
- Strong understanding of business cultures, regulations, and industry trends in both China and Singapore.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across different time zones.
