• In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing credit controls, negotiating payment terms, managing collections, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions

• Develop and implement credit control policies.
• Evaluate customer creditworthiness and set credit limits.
• Assess customer applications and financial data.
• Update and refine credit scoring models.
• Oversee the collections process and ensure timely payments.
• Resolve overdue accounts and negotiate payment terms.
• Lead and mentor credit and collections team members.
• Set performance goals and provide training and support.
• Prepare regular reports on credit risk and collections performance.
• Analyze trends and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with credit regulations and internal controls.
• Stay updated on changes in industry standards.
• Work with sales, finance, and legal teams to align credit strategies.
• Provide credit-related advice to other departments.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (professional qualifications preferred).
• 5-8 years of experience in loan lending, factoring, and asset-backed loan management.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, risk assessment, and managing secured and unsecured loans.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and team members.
• Proficient in ERP systems, loan management platforms, and credit analysis tools.
• Able to lead a team fostering a collaborative work environment
