As the Lead/Head of a team of HR Business Partners, you are expected to lead and coach the team in the delivery of HR services and initiatives. Your main commitments are, but not limited to:
- Partner and engage academic leaders, the business line heads and managers in a proactive and consultative approach to manage the full spectrum of HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Staff Retention, Compensation and Performance Appraisals, as well as Talent Management and Development
- Oversee and/or manage staff programmes, processes and/or initiatives such as promotion and tenure, mid-term advisory report, awards, succession planning, etc. where applicable
- Build relationship as a trusted HR advisor with senior stakeholders and managers in the business units
- Partner the Centres of Excellence (COE) in reviewing, developing, implementing and administering the rewards and benefits programmes of the University
- Provide expert advice, manage complex employee relations issues, and address disciplinary matters
- Oversee the team as contact point for employee relations issues, provide accurate assessment of situations and provide HR advice to business units
- Lead the team in the planning and implementation of HR programmes and continuous improvement projects
- Lead process review projects and participate in improvement projects
