Automotive Mechanic/Technician

• Strong in automotive troubleshooting and diagnostics for vehicle issues, faults and errors (especially Toyota, Porsche and Mercedes Benz passenger cars)
• Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.
• Carry out proper and professional servicing and repair works on customer’s vehicle (some knowledge on EV and experienced in hybrid)
• Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance. This includes engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
• Checking of vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
• Complies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
• Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; diagnosing issues; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Work together with the storekeeper to ensure correct parts are used for the job required and the parts are stocked out.

Candidate must possess at least:

• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field.
• Able to do troubleshooting and has some diagnostics skills.
• Ability to organise jobs and multi task
