Construction project manager - Bukit Merah

• About the role

Reporting to the Senior Project Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to stakeholder engagement and site supervision.

• Developing and implementing project plans, including setting timelines, allocating resources, and monitoring progress
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including safety, drafters, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution
• Effectively managing project budgets and costs, ensuring adherence to financial targets
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that arise
• Supervising on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Identifying and mitigating project risks, implementing appropriate contingency plans
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior members of the project team

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar project management role within the construction industry and experience managing ACMV, HVAC, or BMS projects, focusing on commercial, industrial, or data centre facilities (preferred, not mandatory).
• A proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget (an advantage if demonstrated).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
