Position overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling products within a designated territory. You will be the face of the company to retail partners, distributors, and customers, building long-term relationships and ensuring product availability and visibility.
Job Responsibility:
- Visit assigned retail locations regularly to promote and sell products, ensuring product knowledge is shared effectively with store staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, retailers, and distributors to foster brand loyalty and increase sales.
- Ensure that retailers have adequate stock of products, assisting with stock replenishment and addressing any supply chain issues.
- Provide training to retail staff on product features, benefits, and usage to ensure they can confidently recommend products to customers.
- Ensure products are displayed effectively, according to company guidelines, and maintain an attractive, organized product presentation.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and stock levels, and report progress regularly to the Sales Manager.
- Collect customer feedback and insights from the field, and relay them back to the marketing and product development teams to help improve offerings.
Job Requirements:
- Proven sales experience, especially in route sales, field sales, or account management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
- A self-starter who’s motivated to achieve sales targets and provide top-tier customer service.
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage time effectively to maximize your route.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within your assigned area.
