Role IT Systems Analyst - Payment Systems (Banking) Role Summary We are seeking an IT Systems Analyst with strong exposure to banking and payments systems. Key Responsibilities Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical specification documents to reflect system design and functionality.Testing & Defect Management: Support SIT and UAT test plans, manage defects and change requests, and prioritize fixes with Project Managers and Business Analysts. Operational Support: Assist in transitioning systems from development to production and provide post-implementation support, including coordinating with vendors to resolve reported issues.
Quality Assurance: Participate in quality reviews to ensure deliverables meet IT standards and governance requirements. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, Business Analysts, and development teams, to meet technical and business requirements.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: At least 7+ years in payment system implementations with expertise in methodologies for system analysis. Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Asia-Pacific payment systems (e.g., CITAD, KFTC, FPS, NEFT, etc.). Banking experience is a must. Standards & Tools: Excellent knowledge of ISO20022 payment standards, SWIFT messages, and familiarity with TCS Bancs Payments product (preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Oracle DB, SQL, Unix/Linux, IBM WAS, MQ and experience with API development and management. Project Management: Familiarity with project management fundamentals and change management processes. Methodologies: Solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies.Skills: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Work Ethic: Self-motivated, independent, and a collaborative team player with excellent time-management and organizational skills.
