Internship (Corporate Development) - Geylang

The Corporate Development department at HMI Medical is excited to offer internship opportunities focused on M&A and post-merger integration. This role is ideal for undergraduates eager to gain practical experience and insights into the M&A process including key integration processes driving strategic value creation.

This internship provides a unique opportunity to develop critical skills in M&A and post-merger integration, laying a strong foundation for a career in corporate development. Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience in strategic analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• M&A Project Evaluation: Assist in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of potential merger and acquisition opportunities, performing financial and strategic assessments to support decision-making.
• Post-Merger Integration: Participate in the planning and execution of integration strategies to ensure seamless transitions and alignment of the acquired entities with HMI Medical’s overall business objectives.
• Project Management: Assist in monitoring integration workstreams and tracking milestone achievements, proactively identifying issues and action items to support successful integration outcomes.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate communication, ensuring alignment and support throughout the integration process.
• Industry Research: Conduct thorough research on market trends, competitive landscapes, and best practices in M&A and integration to inform strategic initiatives and enhance decision-making.
• Other Adhoc Support: Create presentation materials to facilitate internal stakeholder discussion such as progress updates and research findings.

Requirements:

• Students in their 2nd to 4th year of study in Finance, Business Administration, Corporate Strategy, or related fields are highly encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in investment, corporate finance, strategy consulting or M&A-related internships is advantageous.
• Commitment to a minimum of 4 months starting in June 2025; students interested in summer internships from May to August 2025 are also welcome to apply.
