Process Technician (Chemical Processing) - Bukit Batok

Our client "Asahi Kasei Synthetic Rubber Singapore Pte Ltd" is seeking a Process Technician to join their team!

• Operational excellence: Attend toolbox meetings, support shift operations, and follow standard operating procedures to ensure safe and stable plant operations.
• Quality control: Take responsibility for product quality, including prevention of foreign material contamination.
• Continuous improvement: Participate in process troubleshooting, investigations, and abnormality reports to enhance operational efficiency.
• Safety first: Monitor and manage safety programs, participate in emergency response training, and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Team collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to collect data, implement new procedures, and support production department initiatives.

• Educational background: Diploma or Nitec in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Industry experience: Preferably 2 years of work experience in a chemical processing environment, but not mandatory.
• Technical knowledge: Basic understanding of chemical processing and familiarity with ISO14001, ISO9001, and SS506 part 3 standards.
• IT proficiency: Comfortable using MS Word and Excel for daily tasks and reporting.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle both routine and non-regular work effectively.
