• All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and corporate operating procedures and policies.
• Support the team with all necessary duties to develop and deliver comprehensive design and construction contracts.
• Ensure change management outcomes are captured and reflected within Timberline ACR’s
• Provide formal responses to contractual matters
• Manage bidding process activities ranging from facilitating issuance of the RFP, providing analysis of tender returns and finalise preparation of the BAW.
• Approve payment certificate of supply chain partners.
• Providing support in the tracking, expediting, collecting and collating contractor’s daily, weekly and monthly reports and other regular data submissions.
• Assist the Senior Contracts Manager during the bidding process with activities such as issuing the RFP, receive and analyze the proposals and preparation of the BAW.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred in the area of Business, Law, Design, Engineering, Project Management or Cost Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 10 years of Contract Management working experience in Construction industry.
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of construction procurement processes with acute commercial awareness
• Ability to work with cross- functional teams and supply chain partners, ensuring awareness of project commercial and contractual constraints.

• Support the delivery of the business standard operating procedures
• Co-ordinate members to ensure project specific tasks are undertaken timeously
• Provide the Management team with updates in regard to matters of project related risk
• Proficient in MS Office
• Previous knowledge of Ariba & Sage based networks would be an advantage.
