Data Scientist - Yishun

Morgan McKinley is looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our client's Data Science team dedicated to applying cutting-edge machine learning (ML) techniques and large language models (LLMs) to tackle real-world business challenges.

This role is for a 12 months contract with our multinational client in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement LLM-based applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance
• Fine-tune LLMs with new training data to improve accuracy and responsiveness
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and develop new LLM-driven solutions
• Stay current with advancements in LLMs and ML, applying new techniques to enhance product capabilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in data science or a related field
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in PyTorch, SQL, and Spark
• Practical experience working with LLMs and a strong interest in their applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team
• Effective communicator capable of explaining technical ideas to non-technical audiences
