Job Scope :

• To devise and implement the strategy for the supply chain within company matrix environment and to ensure that they have the capability required to deliver business plans profitably in meeting regulatory, customer and other stakeholder requirements.
• Guide the sustainable change, performance improvement and career development of the Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service and Planning teams.
• Daily execution of best-in-class customer service levels and product availability, high quality on time in full delivery and optimal management of human and financial resources.
• Guide the team in strategic sourcing & purchasing for key raw material and negotiate well for us to have a competitive advantage.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervises the Procurement, Planning and Customer Service teams to deliver its respective duties as below:

Forecasting Supplier relationship

• Create, implement and refresh the functional strategic plan and implement appropriate programs to address evolving business requirements or issues, collaborating with Group and other divisions, regions, carriers, freight forwarders and other supply chain partners.
• Constantly review external trends and identify internal opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Align development plans for managers to the functional strategic plan to create structure, accountability, responsibility and focus.
• Oversee routine, disciplined operational reviews that cascade through the organization to all levels enabling rapid escalation of issues for resolution and improved performance.
• Achieve all agreed targets for People (safety, coaching& development, engagement), Customer Service (OTIF, CRD, serviceability), Planning (forecast accuracy, DOS, DIOH, stock out, aged inventory) and procurement (cost saving, Supplier on-time, Supplier CAR) and other metrics.
• Leverage available resources and set the benchmark for project management, planning and execution using Lean, ‘right first time’ approaches to eliminate waste and failure.
• Promote and develop tight integration between supply chain, production, QC and warehousing and optimize performance in schedule attainment, adherence to customer needs.
• Develop strategic suppliers/customers management and maintain a good relationship with them
• Guide Information System strategy and development for Supply Chain Operations, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Forecasting.
• Ensure appropriate process controls and documentation are in place at suppliers.
• Perform all company business in accordance with regulations, company policies and procedures and demonstrate high ethical and professional standards with business contacts in order to maintain company’s excellent reputations within the business community.

Travel:

This position may require to travel within Asia region regularly (about 10%) and occasion travel outside of Asia for the purpose of customer and/or coordinating supply chain and logistics activities related to distribution of product.
