Description & Requirements

This position reports to the Construction Manager / Project Manager
Plan daily and weekly work for each section and liaise with site foremen, supervisors and workers on the work tasks and construction methods to be used
Monitor progress of work, quality of workmanship in compliance with site and project requirements and quality records
Check drawings against transmittal for discrepancies, built-ability information, revisions and coordination issues
Maintain structural drawings, part prints and shop drawings to ensure they are in order with the register
Implement project method statements and inspection and test plans
Monitor site progress and initiate setting out verification and update CM and PM on all issues.
Inspect site progress works to ensure the quality and accuracy of the site works
Maintain records as per inspection and test plan and contract documents
Check quality and quantity of subcontract works done

Experience / Skill Required

Minimum 5 years’ of civil engineering experience

Familiar with design & visualizations software such as AutoCAD / Civil 3D or similar

Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, cost control, contract administration, scheduling, safety regulations would be an added advantage

Able to work at East region
