Engineering Assistant / Assistant Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Produce 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD for fabrication and submission to client.
• Produce 3D drawings for presentations.
• Purchasing of materials.
• Coordinate work by scheduling assignments with workshop supervisor.
• Answer queries from salesperson and to provide quotations if necessary.
• Supervise the conducting of load test for assigned equipment.
• Prepare monthly production report to management.
• Prepare monthly workshop worker overtime data report.

• Scheduling and overseeing of work.
• Cost estimation.
• Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers and inter-department personnel.
• Submission of final costing to Finance Department.
• Operating manual.

• Updating of asset master list.
• Movement of assets.
• Disposal / transfer of asset.
• Documentation.
• Audits.

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of 2D AutoCAD or 3D solid works is an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Physically fit.
• Able to work in stress and fast-paced environment.
• Good team player.
• In charge of workshop daily operation

Working hours:

5 days’ work week. Mondays to Fridays: 8:30am to 5.30pm

Transport: We have a company bus departing near Clementi MRT station at 8.10am to bring staff to our office and a return company bus trip back to Clementi in the evening.
