Position Overview

The Application Support Analyst provides detailed support primarily to the APAC region in the design, implementation, and support of all aspects of the Bell Flavors & Fragrances, Inc. corporate systems. As an Application Support Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and understanding our organization’s business processes, requirements, and objectives to facilitate effective implementation, support, and utilization of Bell Installed systems.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • System Administration: Administer IT Help Desk tickets troubleshooting user issues, determining root-cause, and providing solutions to the business user.
  • Enterprise Application Management: Support the maintenance and upgrade of 3rd party applications.
  • Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, workflows, ensuring a deep understanding of organizational needs.
  • Requirements Elicitation: Conduct analysis/design workshops to identify system requirements, functional specifications, and process improvements, translating them into clear functional requirement documents.
  • System Configuration: Configure the system based on Bell Flavor and Fragrance’s blueprint business requirements, ensuring optimal system performance and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Business Process Mapping: Map existing and future business processes, identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and process reengineering.
  • Functional Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and scenarios to ensure the system meets business requirements and performs as expected globally, including system regression and integration testing.
  • User Training and Support: Provide Key User/End-User training and support during the implementation and post-implementation phases, ensuring successful user adoption and system utilization.
  • Change Management: Assist in change management activities by facilitating communication, managing stakeholders, and addressing concerns related to system changes and enhancements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, updates, and new features of installed systems, suggesting and implementing improvements to optimize system performance and enhance user experience.
  • Involved in communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources.
  • Is responsible for the operational support for all legal entities.
  • Directly involved in Bell’s global systems implementation and applications development, including occasional global travel.
  • Maintains user documentation, including user manuals, FAQs and help files.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Attend to requests from all personnel and determine causes of errors.
  • Follow the established policies for the management of information with users and passwords to ensure computer security.
  • Participate in strategic planning and carry out the initiatives corresponding to the department.
  • Make efficient use of Bell's technological resources.
  • Coordinate technological globalization projects.

Education, Training, and/or Work Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Years of experience 0-2 in IT (internships, coursework, or projects related to IT (desirable)
  • Language English level 5, Chinese level 5
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Certifications
  • Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, or PMP certification (desirable)
