Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager, Academic Programmes Administration - Toa Payoh

The Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager will be part of the University-Wide Modules team under the Academic Programmes Administration Division. He/She will provide administrative support in the areas listed below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the operations of university-level modules.
- Manage module’s general email account.
- Track the progress and completion rate of university-level modules.
- Administer and coordinate timetabling / scheduling of classes, as well as assist in booking of facilities.
- Advise students on matters such as module registration.
- Organise and manage events such as talks, workshops and meetings.
- Assist in collation and submission of results, and preparation of reports.
- Administer procurement processes.
- Provide administrative and secretariat support for meetings including minutes-writing.
- Work closely with counterparts across all programmes.
- Research and analyse various module performance indicators to support the roll-out and operational effectiveness of modules.
- Review and improve work processes.
- Other university-wide modules' support assignments as required by the Module Leads, Director of Programme, Programme Leader, or Director, Academic Programmes Administration.
Requirements:
- A Degree from a recognised Institute of Higher Learning.
- Preferably with experience in a similar position/education environment.
- Meticulous with a keen eye for details and analytical in information gathering and resource support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
- Familiarity with automation tools, Systems Thinking, Lean Transformation models and knowledge in Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI would be an advantage.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- A highly motivated individual and a good team player.
