Responsibilities:

  • Manage and track the lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses, from acquisition to disposal.
  • Ensure all IT assets are recorded, maintained, and updated in the asset management system.
  • Perform regular audits and reconciliation of physical IT assets to the records in the management system.
  • Prepare asset tags, ensuring they are correctly labeled and attached to physical assets.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure efficient utilization and disposal of obsolete or excess IT equipment.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on asset status, including inventory, procurement.
  • Create and deliver weekly reports and presentations to senior management, providing insights on asset management, issues, and trends.
  • Analyze asset data using Excel, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Coordinate with the HR department regarding new onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure IT assets are assigned to new hires or retrieved from departing employees.
  • Support the IT department in budgeting and forecasting for future asset purchases.
  • Ensure secure disposal of IT equipment, following proper data destruction and environmental disposal procedures.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in IT asset management or IT administration.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).
  • Familiarity with asset management software and systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Ivanti, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to create reports and presentations using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Knowledge of software licensing and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with HR or similar departments for employee lifecycle processes.
  • Familiarity with data security and disposal standards.
