Finance Manager (Construction Industry)

This company is a leading marine civil engineering firm and a renowned foreshore specialist in Singapore. They are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join their team!

What you’ll do :

• Handle a full set of accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage financial and management reporting.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and tax regulations.
• Oversee the Finance Team to maintain smooth and timely financial operations.
• Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and conduct variance analysis.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and project performance.
• Act as a strategic partner to top management and HODs to align financial goals.
• Supporting senior management with ad-hoc financial matters, would be an added advantage for startup operations.

Job Requirements :

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant professional qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting/finance, with expertise in Singapore and Malaysia regulations.
• Experience in the Construction and experienced in construction industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of SFRS, project accounting, taxation (Singapore & Malaysia), and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience in finance operations, ERP systems, and internal controls.
• Business acumen with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience in financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies.
