Sourcing Engineer - Bukit Batok

We are looking for a Sourcing Engineer to support our daily sourcing operations, help with strategic sourcing, and assist with productivity initiatives. You will work closely with the sourcing manager to source vendors, manage bidding processes, negotiate terms, and maintain supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Sourcing Support:

• Work with the sourcing manager to find and source vendors.
• Manage RFI/Q/P and bidding processes.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.
• Maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL).

Strategic Sourcing:

• Help with spending analysis to identify sourcing opportunities.
• Compare vendor prices and follow up on parts qualifications with other departments.

Other Tasks:

• Assist with ad-hoc sourcing activities as needed.

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of sourcing or procurement experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes (preferred).
• Experience with sourcing mechanical and electro-mechanical parts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills and a team player.
