Accountant/Senior Accountant - Geylang

• Complies and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, including general ledger accounts.
• Full set of accounts.
• Completes and maintains general ledgers, schedules and financial reports.
• Distributes expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables according to schedules.
• Inter company billing and settlements.
• Entity and Group cash planning and control.
• GST reporting
• Handles trade finance transactions such as Import Invoice Financing, Export Invoice Financing, Factoring, Letter of Credits, Loans.
• Reviews contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
• Handling due diligence, surveys and form filling requirements.
• Exercises creativity and discretion in the performance of job duties.
• Works on special projects as required.
• Qualifications and Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accountancy/ACCA.
• Consolidation experience will be a plus.
• Trade finance experience will be a plus.
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
• Must have knowledge of accepted General Accounting Principles.
• Must have good analytical skills.
• Must be able to perform mathematical and statistical computations consistent with the Accounting field.
• Must be able to make independent decisions.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in the English language, verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to read and interpret reports, journals, financial statements, etc.
• Must be proficient in MS Office applications, such as MS Words and Excel.
• Experience in Navision is an advantage.
• Willing to work extra in different country time zone as and when required.
• Able to start work immediately.
