Functional Business Analyst, Banking (1-year renewable contract) - Geylang

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Functional Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The role involves analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver functional solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis:Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and objectives.

1. Solution Design:Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.

1. Collaboration & Communication:Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding.

1. Testing & Validation:Assist in defining test plans and scenarios to validate that the solutions meet business requirements.

1. Change Management & Implementation:Collaborate with business and technical teams to plan and execute process or system changes.

1. Continuous Improvement:Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.

Propose enhancements that drive efficiency, scalability, and business value.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Functional Business Analyst, preferably in banking
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to map them to technology solutions.
• Experience in documenting requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Visio, and project management software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of trade finance
