Business Analyst (Retail Bank) - Geylang

Job Description:

Our client is a a leading retail bank and they are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives and process enhancements. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure the successful implementation of banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements to support banking projects and process improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, operations, and technology teams to define and implement solutions.
• Conduct data analysis and generate insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• Develop detailed reports, presentations, and business cases for senior management.
• Support system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation of new banking products and services.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards in all business processes.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
• Assist in process automation and digital transformation efforts to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in retail banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, digital banking, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in data analysis, process mapping, and business intelligence tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
